A Few words FROM MISHA

Breathwork first came into my life in 2016. I was listening to motivational speaker and extreme athelete Wim Hof speak on Joe Rogan’s Podcast about his experience of winning world records for swimming under ice and running a barefoot half marathon on ice and snow. He attributed his success to what is now called the Wim Hof Method, a combination of frequent cold exposure, breathing techniques, yoga and meditation. This inspired me to take his 10-week breathwork course which gave me the tools to develop my own practice, which included cryotherapy, yoga and regular cold showers.

Fast forward to March 2020, the entire world had shut down and I was looking for a way to process the immense grief of having lost my father to cancer a few months prior.

I already had the awareness that emotions associated to trauma can often become locked in the body. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, every organ is associated to an emotion. What organ is associated to grief and sadness? The lungs.

So I signed up for Wim Hof’s updated fundamentals training and I practiced it almost every day for 6 months.

I was also floating a lot during this time. In the tank I would often receive the message “the next level of your evolution is through the breath”.

I didn’t know what this meant until I found Elemental Rhythm.

The very first Elemental Rhythm Breakthrough Experience I did was a practice session with a friend who at the time was in training to become a facilitator of this work. I did my best to follow his instructions to a ‘T’.

This experience opened the flood gates of my heart, letting free countless waves of grief, while simultaneously being filled with a sense of compassion towards myself, and profound gratitude for having been able to FINALLY create the space to feel all of that.

I was practicing the Wim Hof Method for years but it took just ONE session of Elemental Rhythm to convince me that this is how I was going to take breathwork to the next level.

The breath has innate potential for healing and transformation on a deep, somatic level. It doesn’t just deal with the surface level symptoms, it gets to the ROOT and promotes actual change so we can reprogram our unconscious limiting beliefs, harmonize our internal conflicts and embody our life’s purpose.

I know this. I have experienced these effects first hand. I want to create a space which provides this opportunity to others. And that is why I’m here today.

So thank you, for coming here, to give yourself this experience.

And thank you for trusting me to guide you through it.

Much love,

Misha
